Ginny dropped two quarters into her apron pocket and said, “Hey girl!” as Julie approached.
Julie’s pigtails and shoelaces flapped with each step, “Hey! One rainbow snow cone with extra syrup.”
“Seventy-five cents, please.”
“Even for me?” Julie asked.
Ginny tapped the sign—extra syrup, 25 cents— and said, “I’ve got a business to run.”
